Theory Syllabus | Introduction to creativity and designing, counter sketching, drawing of various cuts, rendering of cuts & cabochons, introduction to various gemstones, various textures of gold, metal rendering, settings, basic views such as plan, front, side views of rings, bracelets, pendants, necklace, basic designs for 3 main markets i.e. American, German and Japanese, general ideas of jewellery manufacturing. Project work include preparation of portfolio. |
Re-Examination | Unsuccessful students wishing to re-appear for the next examination will have to pay the examination fees of Rs. 1,000/-. |
Practicals | Practicals are planned with a view to create and conceive new designs for domestic and international markets. |
Attendance | 100% attendance is compulsory. |
Certificate | On successful completion of the course a Diploma is awarded. |
