Timings 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.; 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)

Minimum Qualification Matriculation or Equivalent
Medium of Instruction English
Theory Syllabus Introduction to creativity and designing, counter sketching, drawing of various cuts, rendering of cuts & cabochons, introduction to various gemstones, various textures of gold, metal rendering, settings, basic views such as plan, front, side views of rings, bracelets, pendants, necklace, basic designs for 3 main markets i.e. American, German and Japanese, general ideas of jewellery manufacturing. Project work include preparation of portfolio.
Re-Examination Unsuccessful students wishing to re-appear for the next examination will have to pay the examination fees of Rs. 1,000/-.
Practicals Practicals are planned with a view to create and conceive new designs for domestic and international markets.
Attendance 100% attendance is compulsory.
Certificate On successful completion of the course a Diploma is awarded.
